Zion Lutheran School is a K-8 school that provides an excellent education in a Christian environment. Class sizes are small in which the personal interaction between the student and teacher is enhanced.

The primary focus of our teachers and staff is Christ-centered learning and all students are treated with Christian love, caring and nurturing.

Your child does not have to be a Lutheran to be a student at the school. Even though the Christian teachings that may be applied within the curriculum are from the Lutheran perspective, no pressure is ever applied to any child or parent to join our church or our faith. You are always welcome to speak with our pastor about our church and its teachings, but you are never pressured to do so.

Chapel is held every Wednesday morning and parents are encouraged to attend. Before and after day care is available to parents who may need a place for their children prior to or after the school day.

Our staff members are dedicated teachers and devout Christians who will treat your child with the love and attention that he or she deserves.

As you may often see on car bumper stickers that indicate the driver’s child is an honor student at a particular school – at Zion we believe ALL of our children are honor students. And we treat them as such.

Zion Lutheran School is now accepting applications for all-day, free tuition kindergarten enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year. Before-school care is also available and free of charge. Morning care is open from 7:00 a.m. until school begins. Kindergarten day is from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Afternoon care is available for a fee.

There is a one-time registration fee of $175.00. A 10% discount is available to families that enroll by the end of this month.

Enrolling kindergartners must be five years old by December 2. Verification of birth date, current immunization and dental records are required at the time of registration.

Parents may call the school during the week at 535-4346 between 8:00 a.m. and noon to make an appointment to enroll. Spanish speaking staff members are available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., if needed.

Zion is also accepting applications for students who wish to enroll in grades 1 through 8. Band is available for students in grades 3 to 8.

Zion Lutheran School serves the entire community and admits students of any race, color, religion and ethnic origin.
